What is Club Penguin?Club Penguin is a virtual world where members create avatars of Penguins and interact with others’ penguins. Club Penguin became available to the public in October 2005 and has grown into one of the most popular online communities in the world. Though the game can be played for free, many of the features are not available unless a subscription is purchased. Basic membership is free, but premium membership offers you the ability to purchase more items of clothing to dress-up your penguin, decorate your igloo, and buy more Puffles (Club Penguin Pets) if you wish. Once your account is created, you begin in the middle of a snowy town along with a lot of other penguins. Nearby is a gift shop, coffee shop, and a nightclub that you can visit. When you are ready to go to another place, there is a Map icon on the bottom of your screen that you can use to navigate around the game world. Some of the places allow you to play games, some by yourself and some games with others which allow you to earn coins that you can then use to buy things for your penguin, such as pets called Puffles.Club Penguin Secret AgentsClub Penguin Secret Agents get access to game content that other players do not have which includes various quests, items and ability to go to Penguin HQ which allows you to teleport anywhere within the game.To become a Club Penguin secret agent, click on the Gold M at the upper right corner of your screen and select “Become Secret Agent”, then select the answers below for the questions that you are asked. 1. I want to help other penguins Once complete, your application will be sent to a Mod, and next you will receive a Secret Agent spyphone that allows you to teleport various places and to the Headquarters (HQ).
